Another Happy Home for a “K” Puppy!
The “K Litter” puppies were a group of six adorable Australian Shepherd mixes found abandoned along a busy highway. Thankfully, some kind-hearted Good Samaritans rescued them and brought them safely to HART.
All six puppies found their forever homes in August with wonderful families, and we recently received a paw-some update on one of them: Karter, now known as Milo!
Milo has settled right into his new home and quickly become the sweetest, most affectionate companion his new mom could ask for. He’s brought so much joy into her life!
He’s already enrolled in training classes and is proving to be a star pupil. He’s quick to learn and eager to please! Milo loves to play games and is absolutely obsessed with his growing collection of toys.
Since being adopted, he’s been busy exploring the world around him, visiting creeks, beaches, farms, and more! He’s adaptable, confident in new situations, and always ready for the next adventure.
Milo gets along wonderfully with every dog he’s met and is curious and playful with all kinds of animals, he’s even met a horse!
His new mom also did a DNA test to learn more about his unique background. The results revealed that Milo is a paw-some mix of:
Australian Shepherd: 45%
Pit Bull Terrier: 18%
Border Collie: 17%
Siberian Husky: 10%
German Shepherd: 6%
Collie: 4%
There’s nothing quite like adopting a mixed-breed pup, you never know what kind of wonderful combination you’ll get!
Stories like Milo’s are a perfect example of how HART changes lives, one paw at a time. Seeing our once-homeless pets thriving in their forever homes fills our hearts with joy, and we couldn’t do it without you.
