What HART FOR ANIMALS Does with the Information Collected
The information from the contact forms:
The information gathered on the various contact forms is sent via an email to the employees within HART for Animals so it can be used to respond to the person completing the form. The information is not stored in any system or database. Emails to and from the person who completed the contact form may be saved in a HART for Animals employee email account.
The information gathered from Veterinary and Boarding Services:
The information obtained by HART for Animals staff and used to provide veterinary and boarding services to customers is stored in the point of sale and transaction system used by HART for Animals to conduct general business functions.
The information from the newsletter sign up form:
The information gathered on the newsletter sign up form is stored in a database and uploaded to an email marketing tool periodically by the site administrator. Once in the email tool, the subscriber will begin receiving emails from the email tool. The information acknowledging this privacy policy and “opting in” to receive emails from HART for Animals is used to prove that the subscriber elected to be opted in to receive emails from HART for Animals. Once in the email marketing tool, the subscriber’s First Name, Last Name, and Email address are stored. If the subscriber chooses to opt-out of emails from HART for Animals, the information will be maintained in the email marketing tool with the preference to no longer be emailed.
Does HART For Animals Share Information?
No. HART for Animals does not share information with anybody. Children’s Privacy
HART for Animals does allow minor volunteers to apply for a volunteer position. The volunteer contact form does request the name and email address of any individual interested in volunteering. This may include a minor under the age of 18. Any minors interested in volunteering will be asked to provide the contact information of a parent or guardian, who will be asked to provide consent for the minor to participate in volunteer activities. HART for Animals may ask parents/guardians to share information to provide for the safety and to be used in the event of an emergency. Information of minors that is not used for the purpose of emergency contact, work history, and/or other volunteering efforts will not be maintained. HART for Animals encourages parents and guardians to spend time online with their children and to participate and monitor the interactive activities of their children.
