Our innovative model, with the support of generous donors, enables us to rescue and adopt animals that would otherwise be euthanized.
Our Mission
To improve the condition of animals in Western Maryland and surrounding regions through: rescue and transport; accessible spay/neuter surgeries; building and operating a humane animal center; sheltering and adopting homeless animals.
HART by the Numbers
The revenues generated by the services at the HART Animal Center support the basic operating costs so that we may serve the animals and our community through our mission programs.
