The clinic provides preventive and healing veterinary care for cats, dogs, and small pets. Located at the HART Animal Center, revenues from the Bredel Veterinary Clinic help support the charitable programs which are the core of HART's mission.

Pet Wellness

Time for a checkup? Our experienced veterinary staff recommends that you bring your pet in for a checkup at least once a year for a complete head to paw review. We will evaluate your pet’s vaccinations, perform a dental check, and discuss age appropriate factors impacting your pet’s health.

Spay/Neuter

Our veterinarians are experienced at providing a safe and stress-free procedures for your pet during the spay/neuter process. Financial assistance is available for families that can demonstrate need and qualify for our spay/neuter assistance program.

Dental Procedures

Healthy and clean teeth can make a huge difference in a pet’s life span and overall health, not to mention it does wonders for their breath! We recommend getting a pet dental health check at least once a year, and our staff are experts in scaling and cleaning your pet’s teeth.

Surgical Procedures

Our state-of-the-art surgical center is equipped to handle the surgeries that your pet may need during the course of their life. Our experienced veterinarians and vet technicians approach every surgery with compassion and care to improve the experience for the pet and their family.

PennHip Testing

The Bredel Vet Clinic team can conduct this advanced hip screening process that allows for early detection of hip dysplasia. Early intervention can help prevent or lessen the severity of hip dysplasia as your pet ages. Ask about the process at your next visit to learn more.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy is a non-invasive treatment designed to reduce pain and inflammation, and to speed healing. This treatment is quickly becoming the standard of care in both human and veterinary medicine. Our staff members administer laser therapy via a handpiece that emits this therapeutic infrared light in a fast, drug-free, and soothing treatment.

Spay/Neuter Programs

Since 2009, HART has been the leader in our region for providing low-cost spay/neuter surgeries to the pets of our local residents. We do this because our founders created HART as a reaction to the fact that so many animals had to be euthanized every year.

Neil’s Helping Fund

This fund helps pet owners whose income exceeds the WIC guidelines by a maximum of $10,000 a year. It is available to any pet needing emergency care, up to $1,000, whose owner meets the eligibility requirements.
