Adoption Story: Brandy

Brandy is a fine girl. What a good dog she will be. 

Just like the song, Brandy is a sweet 5-month-old Newfoundland mix puppy that arrived at HART with her brother. She was in rough shape, suffering from a bacterial infection on her skin, malnutrition, and a lack of social skills. After being examined by our veterinarian, the HART staff began the task of helping Brandy become her very best self. She received antibiotics and medicated baths for her skin received 3 square meals a day to help her put on some weight, and learned to get along with both people and other four-legged friends. After hard work and determination, she was able to find her perfect place. A groomer with experience was up for the challenge of helping Brandy grow that beautiful coat she was meant to have. Along with her new humans, she also got herself a sister to help teach her everything she needs to do to be a good dog. We can’t wait to see how this young pup grows up and what a good dog she will be.
