Hendrix the Husky’s Happy Home
Our handsome Husky, Hendrix, has found the happiest home!
Hendrix, a stunning 9-year-old senior Husky, came to HART in search of a new family. Despite his age, Hendrix was full of love, energy, and affection. He loved long hikes and was a dream to walk on leash! With his calm, gentle nature and lovable spirit, he quickly became a favorite among our staff and volunteers.
After a short stay in our Adoption Wing, Hendrix met his forever family, and it was love at first sight! He was adopted and began an incredible new chapter filled with love and adventure.
We recently received a paw-some update from his family about how well he’s doing! Hendrix now lives in North Carolina, where he’s settled in beautifully. He even has two Husky siblings, Ryker and Waylon, to share his days with. The trio has become inseparable, enjoying endless playtime and plenty of walks together.
Hendrix also has new human siblings, and his family shared that he’s been the best big brother, patient, gentle, and sweet with their daughters. Their oldest lovingly calls the dogs “her boys,” and Hendrix fit right into the pack from day one.
According to his mom, Hendrix is a big cuddle bug who loves to be near his people. He starts the night snuggled up on their bed, then moves to the floor to sleep close by. Wherever his family is, that’s where he wants to be.
His family says they’re so grateful to have Hendrix in their lives. He’s been the sweetest addition to their home and hearts!
Thank you to Hendrix’s family for choosing adoption and giving this wonderful senior pup a second chance. Stories like Hendrix’s remind us of the power of adoption and the joy it brings to both pets and people.
