Ray J Is On His Way

Ray J is a 5-month-old Newfoundland mix that came to us with his sister Brandy here at HART. After his sister was adopted the adoption wing staff quickly got working to find Ray J his perfect home. This well-mannered gentle giant would fit in anywhere and we knew it wouldn’t be long until he found his place. Lucky for us a wonderful family was looking for a four-legged friend to complete their home. After coming into HART with their 3 children it wasn’t hard to see that this is where he was meant to be. Gentle with all the kids, and taking to mom quickly they gladly signed our adoption contract and whisked Ray J away. We are so glad this well-mannered pup found his place and we can’t wait to see what a good boy he grows up to be. Congratulations Ray J and thank you to another family that took another pet from homeless to homed.

UPDATE TIME!

Ray J and his new family have turned out to be a wonderful fit! Renamed Teddy before they even showed Ray J his new home, He has taken to his new name and new family quite well. Given the name Teddy because “he’s such a teddy bear”, Teddy “Loves his humans, has adjusted to life in his new home, and has been a perfect fit.”

Teddy loves the snow and spends his days pulling the sled around the yard. Then goes right back out for more fun once the youngest members of the family get home from school. He also loves walking the eldest to the bus stop in the morning. Teddy has also become a huge momma’s boy and when he’s not playing or snuggling with the kids, is typically found wherever his new mom is.

“He is truly a big “Teddy” bear!”

We love hearing back from people who have adopted from us. It’s so wonderful to hear about how well the dog or cat has settled in and how the lives of both the animal and the owner have changed. If you would like to send us an update, please reach out to us on Facebook!
