HART for Animals will be giving away free bags of Rachael Ray Nutrish dry dog food for families in need beginning at 1 pm on November 17 at the Oakland Pavilion (Farmer’s Market). The dog food was donated by the J.M. Smucker Company, manufacturer of the dog food. HART is not requiring proof of income; however, the food giveaway is aimed at helping families that may need some help with the care of their pets. The dog food will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, with one four-pack (16 lbs. total) per household.
