Tips for getting your pet home safely.

 

The Ride Home

  • When loading your new pet into your vehicle, be sure to leave the leash on. You want to confine them to the area in which you want them to learn to ride.

  • Whether it is in your cargo area, front or back seat, someone should either sit with them to confine them to that area, or you can knot their leash and close it in the door.

  • Your pet does not understand roaming around the vehicle is distracting and can interfere with your driving.
