George has always been curious about what a family is. Formerly homeless, this 2-year-old hound mix was always thinking about what a furever family was. Was it a mom, dad, and 2 legged brothers and sisters? Was it a woman looking for a friend? He had heard they all looked different and come in various shapes and sizes and could come when you least expect them. So he waited and he wondered and he hoped that one day he would be curious no more. Then one day, a wonderful family showed up who wanted to add just one more 4 legged family member to their tribe. A family containing cats, dogs, and humans alike, they came and talked to George, answering all of his long-thought questions. By the end of the meeting and with the sign of a pen we here at HART were more than confident that George finally knew what family meant. See, family is the friends that love you just as you are, and they save you when you need them the most and will always be by your side. We are so excited to see what other family lessons that George will learn, and we’re so glad to be able to help our area’s homeless animals find their new furever families.
