Mozart is a 9-year-old Chihuahua who came to us here at HART a little down on his luck. Getting a little older in life, this handsome man needed some medical attention due to his sore knees and poor teeth. While he was spending time here getting healthier, this cute little stud took kindly to some of our staff here at HART, lounging around in their laps and enjoying the good life. Once his health improved, the search began to find that perfect home that would give him all the love and medical care that he would need. It wasn’t long before a wonderful family looking to fill the void left by the recent passing of their four-legged friends was willing and ready to take on all that Mozart needed. After some time with this pup, they knew he was exactly where he needed to be. We are so glad this fan-favorite found his way into the heart of his forever family. And we couldn’t be more grateful to families like this, who adopt older dogs and cats. It’s not just the puppies that need homes, and it warms our hearts to see some of our older dogs find homes they’ve been waiting for for a long time.
