Honey’s Happy Tail!
If you follow us on social media, you might remember our adorable “S” litter, a group of 11 Boxer/Coonhound puppies who came to HART with their mom, Susie!
We’re happy to share that all of these sweet pups have since found loving homes. And we recently received a wonderful update about one of them, Simone, now known as Honey!
Honey was adopted in July, and it was love at first sight for her new family. She now has a furry Boxer sister named Roxy, and the two are inseparable! Honey loves playing with all of Roxy’s toys, and her mom says they do a great job sharing.
Since her adoption, Honey has grown into a smart, energetic pup who loves “helping” with the landscaping by digging in the yard. When she’s not busy outside, she’s a total snugglebug, curling up on the couch and trying to convince her mom to stay in bed a little longer each morning with nose-to-neck cuddles.
Honey’s mom shared that both she and Roxy are so grateful to have Honey as part of their family, and it’s clear she’s very loved!
Stories like Honey’s remind us of the power of adoption and the joy that comes from giving a pet a second chance.
