Kade’s Story of Second Chances and Love

We’ve got another heartwarming update from one of our “K” litter puppies! From being abandoned along a highway to finding loving homes, we couldn’t be happier for these pups and their incredible new families.

This update is all about Kade, who was adopted from HART in August,  and he’s now living his best life as Dharma Zen on a beautiful 5-acre farm!

His new mom shared that Dharma has become quite the country gentleman. He loves spending his days watching and interacting with the goats and chickens, and inside, he’s got two feline friends who absolutely adore him.

Some of Dharma’s favorite things include going for car rides, hiking adventures, and playing with his beloved jolly ball in the field. He’s also a quick learner — currently mastering his obedience skills and manners, and doing wonderfully with socialization. His mom says he’s calm and well-behaved around people of all ages, dogs, and in busy public places.

Dharma Zen is described as “a calm soul with bursts of energy,” and his mom couldn’t be more thankful for him. She shared that he’s truly completed and complemented her life.

We’re so happy for Dharma Zen and his family, another wonderful reminder of how adoption changes lives for both pets and people.
