Minnie’s Marvelous New Life!
Our adorable Minnie has found a forever home to grow up in, and her new life couldn’t be sweeter!
When Minnie first arrived at HART alongside her brother Mickie, both pups were very shy and unsure of the world. Having grown up in a barn with limited socialization and human interaction, everything was new to them. But with patience, love, and care from our staff and volunteers, Minnie began to blossom and gain the confidence she needed to find her forever family.
When Minnie first met her new family it was love at first sight! Minnie was adopted in February, and her new chapter began!
Now known as Pippa, she’s settling into her new home fabulously! While she was a bit nervous during her first week, her confidence has grown quickly, and she’s fully embracing her new life!
Pippa has been hard at work learning the ropes and is doing an amazing job. She’s making great progress with potty training, is now crate trained, and is thriving in her obedience training, already mastering “come” and “sit,” and working hard on “stay.”
She’s also been enjoying plenty of fun outings with her family. From car rides to the park for playtime to trips to the pet store to pick out new toys and meet friends, Pippa is experiencing all the joys of being a beloved family dog. She even had her very first pup cup, and absolutely loved it, soaking up all the attention during a visit to Starbucks!
At home, Pippa has formed a special bond with her human sister, who has taken on her role with so much love! The two are inseparable, with Pippa happily following her around like a devoted shadow.
Her family shares that they feel truly blessed to have welcomed such a sweet soul into their lives, and it’s easy to see that Pippa feels the same.
We couldn’t be happier to see Pippa thriving in her forever home. Stories like hers are a beautiful reminder of how adoption changes lives, for both pets and the people who love them.
Thank you to all our adopters for giving homeless animals a second chance.
