Sis the Survivor!

Meet Sis the Survivor, a stunning brown-and-white tabby with a heart as strong as her spirit!

Sis was found as a stray in December by a kind-hearted community member who made sure she had food and someone looking out for her. When it became clear that one of her eyes needed medical attention, they reached out to HART, and Sis was brought to us right away.

Our veterinary team quickly discovered that Sis had a severe eye infection. Despite everyone’s best efforts, the infection caused her eye to rupture, and surgery was needed to remove it. Through it all, Sis never lost her sweet nature or her determination. She healed like a champ and was more than ready for her second chance at a forever home.

That chance came quickly, and it was love at first purr!

Today, Sis goes by a new name: Winnie! She’s thriving in her forever home alongside three German Shepherd dog siblings and has confidently claimed her role as queen of the household. While the pups are very curious about her, Winnie prefers to glide right past them like the cool cat she is.

Life with one eye hasn’t slowed her down one bit. Winnie hasn’t missed a single jump, navigates her home like a pro, and enjoys her days playing with toys or lounging in total comfort. Best of all? She’s a world-class cuddle bug who soaks up every ounce of love and TLC from her family.

We couldn’t be happier that Winnie found her purr-fect match and the loving home she so deeply deserves!
