Wonderful Wednesday’s New Life!

In December, one of our long-term adoptable dogs finally got the happy ending she had been waiting for. Wednesday, a sweet and gentle Pit Bull girl, was adopted after spending four months at HART patiently waiting for her forever family, and her wait was so worth it!

During her time with us, Wednesday quickly stole the hearts of our staff and volunteers. Her loving personality and adorable personality made her a favorite at HART, and we couldn’t have been more excited when the perfect family came along!

Now known as Jo-Jo, she entered her new home at just the right moment. Her family had recently lost one of their dogs just before Christmas, leaving their pup, Dozer, heartbroken and missing his companion. When they met Jo-Jo, it was an instant connection, and they knew she was meant to be part of their family!

Today, Jo-Jo and Dozer are inseparable. They’ve become best friends, often snuggled up together, with Jo-Jo lying as close to him as possible. She even lovingly cleans Dozer’s ears and face from time to time. Along with her canine brother, Jo-Jo now has two human siblings, and everyone has been getting along beautifully!

Jo-Jo has also formed a special bond with her new mom, following her from room to room as her little shadow. She loves going on walks and is settling into her new routine, with hopes of starting off-leash training soon so she can have some outdoor runs with Dozer.

We couldn’t be happier that Jo-Jo has found the loving family she so deserves! Stories like hers are a powerful reminder of the difference a second chance can make.

Your support helps make happy endings like this possible. Please consider donating today to help us care for and find loving homes for more pets in need, just like Jo-Jo.
