Georgia’s Journey to Healing

Sweet Georgia came to HART in early July as a tiny kitten, just a few months old. When she arrived, she was suffering from severe eye ulcers and could only see a little from one eye. 

Our Bredel Clinic and Adoption Wing teams worked to treat her condition, but despite weeks of dedicated care, her eyes were too damaged to save. Ultimately, Georgia needed surgery to remove both eyes.

Since her surgery, Georgia has been healing beautifully and adjusting like a champ! She’s been showered with love and TLC from our staff and amazing volunteers as she continues to recover and prepare for a forever home of her own. Despite everything she’s been through, this brave little girl is still playful, affectionate, and full of happy purrs.
