Proper toys for your pet will enrich their lives.

Necessary enrichment.

Providing the proper toys for your pet will not only enrich their lives, but help to keep them from choosing to play with your shoes, socks, and remote control! The toys should be appropriate for their age, size and chewing strength. You wouldn’t give a Great Dane a three inch soft chew bone, but you could give it to a 5 lb Chihuahua.

Find the right toy.

As you research which types of toys are best for your new pet, you will notice that many have ratings for chewing strengths on their packaging to help you make the right choices.

It will take a little time to get to know your dog’s preference in toys; balls, rope, stuffed, rubber, sterile beef bones, etc.

Don’t forget to rotate their toys weekly to bring back that excitement of an almost new toy!
