Seeing with Her Heart: Georgia’s Journey to Love

Georgia arrived at HART back in July as a tiny kitten, suffering from severe eye ulcers and barely able to see. Despite weeks of dedicated care from our Bredel Clinic and Adoption Wing teams, Georgia ultimately needed surgery to remove both eyes.

But this brave little girl never let anything slow her down! Throughout her journey, she remained playful, affectionate, and full of happy purrs. Thanks to the love and care she received at HART, Georgia made a full recovery and found her forever home in October.

Today, Georgia is living her best life with a loving family and a human sibling who absolutely adores her. Her new family shared that despite her loss of sight, she navigates her world with ease and never lets it slow her down. Georgia has become a cuddle queen, showering her family with love every day!

She’s even formed a special bond with another former HART adoptee, a kitten named Oscar, proving that friendship knows no bounds, even for the tiniest, bravest of cats.

Thank you to all of our adopters, both past and future, for giving our precious animals like Georgia the homes they deserve!
