Bunny’s Story of Hope and Healing

Our sweet Bunny’s story had a difficult beginning, but thanks to compassionate supporters like you, it’s still being written.

Found as a stray and never claimed, Bunny, a five-year-old Pitbull, arrived in our care severely underweight and in significant pain. Her tail had been broken and damaged down to the bone, a heartbreaking sign of just how long she had been struggling on her own. It was clear she had gone far too long without the care and comfort she deserved

But Bunny’s story didn’t end there.

Through the support of Mocha’s Fund, she was given the second chance she so desperately needed. Bunny received over $700 in critical medical care, including a dental procedure, tail amputation, medications, and ongoing treatment. Just as important, she was surrounded by our caring team, nourishing meals, and the kind of love every animal deserves.

Today, Bunny is safe. She’s healing. She’s gaining weight. And she’s never lost her sweet spirit!

Mocha’s Fund makes stories like Bunny’s possible. Supported entirely by grants and donations, this fund allows us to provide lifesaving treatment for animals who arrive with serious, often life-threatening conditions. From emergency surgeries to specialized procedures like amputations and eye removals, these are the cases that require immediate action and compassionate support.

When animals like Bunny come through our doors, there’s no hesitation. We do everything we can to help them heal. But we can’t do it without you.

Please consider making a gift to Mocha’s Fund today. Your support ensures that animals like Bunny receive the urgent care they need, and the chance to live the life they’ve always deserved.

Now, Bunny is ready for her next chapter.

She has a calm, soulful nature and forms deep, meaningful bonds with those she trusts. Once she knows she’s safe, there’s nothing she loves more than being close to her people.

While her past remains a mystery, one thing is certain, Bunny is gentle, resilient, and so deserving of a loving home. She does well with other dogs and would thrive in a home with children 10 years and older.

After everything she’s been through, Bunny is more than ready to be someone’s beloved companion.
