Meet Mopsie: A Sweet Senior Survivor Ready for Her Second Chance!

Mopsie is a 13-year-old Terrier mix with a heart as big as her story. This resilient little lady came to HART after being found wandering alone in the middle of a snowstorm, cold, vulnerable, and desperately in need of help.

When she arrived, it was clear Mopsie had been without proper veterinary care for quite some time. Our team immediately stepped in to give her the medical attention she so urgently needed.

Mopsie was suffering from a severe case of hookworms that required four rounds of treatment to fully clear. She also had a mass on her stomach that needed testing and surgical removal, thankfully, it was benign. On top of that, she required a much-needed dental procedure to restore her comfort and overall health.

Thanks to Mocha’s Fund, Mopsie received over $900 in medical care, and that’s not including the cost of her daily care while she heals with us. Today, we’re thrilled to share that Mopsie is feeling better than ever. She’s healthy, happy, and finally ready to find a loving forever home of her own.

From life-saving surgeries to complex treatments such as amputations, eye removals, and other specialized procedures, this fund makes second chances possible.
